Love at First Glance: My Serendipitous Encounter with Lamindo By; Abdoulrasheed Tapheeda

I remember the day vividly, the sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze in the air as I made my way into the Alh. Iliyasu Goje’s house. Little did I know this seemingly ordinary visit to my friend and colleague in struggle Ambassador Saddam Goje would lead to a serendipitous encounter that would change my life forever.

As I walked into the house, I hadn’t expected to be greeted by such a breathtaking sight of Lamindo (Saddam’s younger sister) stood in the doorway of the living room, her eyes sparkling warmly and kindly. Her beauty was undeniable, but it was more than that.m of what I heard. I felt an instant connection to her, nothing could have prepared me for the way she made my heart race with just one glance. From that moment, I knew that there was something special about Lamindo. There was a warmth and kindness in her eyes that drew me in, and I couldn’t help but feel a flutter and in my heart.

We exchanged shy Hello’s, and I tried my best to keep my composure as we chatted with Saddam. But I found myself stealing glances at Lamindo whenever I thought she wasn’t looking. I couldn’t believe how strongly I was drawn to her, and I knew that this was something special.

After our first meeting, I couldn’t stop thinking about Lamindo. I started finding excuses to visit their house just to see her again. And each time I did, my feelings for her only grew stronger. I found myself daydreaming about her, longing for any chance to see her again. It felt like love at first sight, and I knew I had to do something about it. Finally, I mustered up the courage to talk to Saddam about his sister and how I felt about her. I asked for his permission to speak to her, and he granted it.

So, I searched for and chatted with her on Facebook. I told her how I felt about her and expressed my desire to make her my wife. To my delight, she said yes to me. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Our love story had begun with a simple glance, but it quickly blossomed into something beautiful and enduring. Looking back on that first meeting, I believe in love at first sight. Lamindo has become the love of my life, and I’m grateful every day that I had the chance to meet her at Saddam’s house.

Our love has grown stronger with every passing day, and I can’t imagine my life without Lamindo by my side. She brings so much joy and warmth into my life, and I am eternally grateful for that chance encounter at Saddam’s house. Sometimes I think about how different my life would be if I hadn’t met Lamindo that day. It’s truly amazing to think that a simple glance could lead to such a profound and life-changing connection. I truly believe that some things are just meant to be, and our love story is a testament to that.

As we continue on this journey together, I am excited for all the adventures and memories we will create. I am thankful for that first meeting, and I look forward to a lifetime of love and happiness with Lamindo by my side. She will always be the one who captured my heart with just one glance. I am constantly amazed by Lamindo’s kindness, strength, and unwavering support. She has been my rock through the toughest times and my source of laughter and joy during the best of times. I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

Our love has taught me the true meaning of companionship and partnership. We navigate through life’s challenges together, always supporting and uplifting each other. I am grateful for the love and understanding that we share, and I know that with Lamindo by my side, there is nothing we cannot conquer. I look forward to growing old with Lamindo, creating a lifetime of memories, and cherishing every moment we have together. Our love is a beautiful journey, and I am grateful for every step we take together.
